milkdrop for Live music?

I am a musiacian and i came across this plugin and thought how wonderfully fun it would be to play live music to. does any one have any ideas how i could do this or if it is possible

most of the time you would probably get some mean remark about how you should search the forums before posting, but I'll give you a little slack since you're a musician. But you should really go do that if you want more info that I'm providing.

but as far as using milkdrop for a live show, you can use it like any other winamp plugin, just goto ADD URL and enter linein://. Setup you're microphone for you selected recording input on your sound card and you should be golden. I believe there is also some more info on how to do this in the milkdrop documentation if I'm not mistaken.

Whoops, totally forgot you said you might be willing to pay for something like this. Where do you play shows? I've setup stuff like this for other musician friends of mine before.
