Every 30 seconds or so it will pop up for a split second. I had to get a program to record my desktop to video because it goes so fast. Anyone know what it is? It's making me crazy. I ran a virus and adware test and got nothing.

Go to:

Start> Control Panel> Security Center and see which one isn't green, thats whats causing it.

The firewall was off, but I just turned it on and everything is green, but it's still doing it. Why would it blink for a split second just so I can look to the lower right corner of my screen just to see nothing every few seconds.

Run windows update (Tools>Windows Update) and get any critical updates, it could be saying there is an update available/ready to download/ready to install depending on what you have set for Automatic Update in Security Center

Double-click the icon in the system tray -> look on the left and click "Change the way Security Center alerts me" -> uncheck all three.
