I tryed google but I can not find if they are going to release it for christmas or anytime soon. I know there is a Box Set of the theatrical version (or and edited theatrical version according to some of the reviews at amazon).

Anyone know if they are going to release it for christmas? If not i have to think of something else i want from christmas. :p

I believe that it's going to be released in November. At least that's when all the other extended versions of previous two films were released.

Ooohh. Looks good.
I will soon have the last one and then my set will be complete. I got the Collectors Edition of The Fellowship Of The Ring for christmas; two years ago is it now? I liked the Argonath models that came with it so I pursuaded my mum to get me the Two Towers Collectors edition next chrismas. And this year I'm getting Return of the King.
I plan on watching all three consecutively after christmas dinner tomorrow, no strike that, today. The time now is 12:24 AM.
