Hi All,

I am new to setting up this type of system. I am setting up an online radio station for a school that I work for. This is what I have setup so far. Everything will be running on an internal intranet.

This is my current setup. I am using a server to broadcast the radio show. From what I know they will be recording the show prior to its broadcast. I will have them put it in Mp3 format. Right now I am currently streaming audio using winamp player with SHOUTcast Source v1.8.2b. I am using SHOUTcast server v1.9.2/win32. Like I said my audio is streaming currently and can be listened to from a link I created that launches it in Windows Media player 9.

Here are a few questions I have.

1) They want to have the current show streaming but want the listeners to have the ability to listen to the last 3 archived shows. ( I assume this will just be archived MP3 files?)Can this be used like Audio on demand?

2)Is there a way I can have the teacher manage the streams etc without logging on to my server? Or will they need access to Winamp running on my server where the MP3's are playing? I suppose they will also need access to the Shoutcast Server applet.

Any answers, comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

sLY
