When I try to install 5.5 it has problems with the plugins folder. I have deleted all references from winamp 3.0 in my reg. however when I try to access the plugins dir to delete it wont let me, it says it isnt empty. When I try to get into the dir I get the above message. I tryed booting to dos and it says no files exist in the dir yet I cant RD. I got a message in winamp prior to this saying that a security risk exists in the plugins dir so Im sure this isnt a remote instance of this issue. Running XP by the way.
Thanks in advance for any input!!

huh? How is an operating system installed (let alone winamp) if the drive isn't formatted. Why were there even entried in the registry to delete from 3.0? Didn't you just uninstall it? I'm really confused.
