I just wrote an app that'll get lyrics, artwork and recommend songs for what you're playing. It's very beta so you can check it the db results Here (http://www.clinko.com/music/)
The app can be found with Here (http://www.clinko.com/music/?Setup=1)
Here's a screenshot of the app. The results are on the webpage...

If you have any suggestions etc. email me temp0@Yahoo.com

heh, I noticed you were listening to a bunch of artists I may not have had yet. That's awesome. The more obscure the artist, the better the recommendation if someone happens to play the same song, or is the same artist.
Whereas big bands like britney, justin timberlake, etc all blend together. I guess that's kind of poetic isn't it.

not bad, but if I click the balloon when it says lyrics found, it opens in ie, instead of opening in firefox like if I wait and double click the icon in the tray

So it did work in firefox by doubleclicking? A friend was using firefox and it didn't work at all so I made the code open it in IE, I guess I forgot to change the double click code. I'll see if firefox actually works and my friend was just a tard.

When I click the tooltip, it annoyingly and needlessly opens in IE.

hmm, I guess you'll have to double click instead. I'll write that down as a bug.

And if you enable "Scroll title in the Windows taskbar", the currently playing thing at clinko.com/music comes up screwy. (it was supposed to show up as "Blue Man Group - Drumbone"

Sorry about that. You try the program yet? I've been tweakin' it.

Found another glitch at the clinko.com/music page. When listening to a bad SHOUTcast stream that buffers a lot (in my case it was the OHMYTRANCE (http://61.74.71.105:11978) stream), the playcount for that stream is increased by one every it buffers (over 150 times in this stream), therefore dramatically altering the popularity stats, which leaves the page open for malicious little punks to screw up the stats page and destroy the whole purpose of it.
In the screenshot, I've highlighted parts of the music page that shows how one little stream climbed up every ranking (including the "all time" one) in just an hour.
Now I know that 150+ people didn't so happen to listen to this station at the same time (considering that the stream supports only 100 listeners anyway), so this has to be a glich.

I did some updates last night and didn't notice that immediately. The buffered tracks are removed, but the actual track when it connects isn't. Thanks for finding that.
If you'll notice, i updated it to version 1.1 today. It fixes a few bugs, but it's mainly appearance changes.
I'll attach a pic of the menu changes.
That bug will be fixed when I get in tonight. Version 1.2 here we come. :)

Not so. All Clinko has to do, is collate information taht he might post BEFORE posting. This way everything is in its own shiny post, and tehre is no need to keep smacking that reply button.
