That annoying [Opening] Message

I think it'd be amazing if you took away that [Opening] message whenever you click on a song, and once in a while, it says that the opening failed, so i stuck to winamp 5.02, and i wanna update, but that opening message is so annoying. is there a .dll patch or something that i could replace so that that message doesn't come up? or you could change it in .07, it'd be really appreciated, thanks :winamp:

ill assume you are referring to the "you should be updating, there are new versions of WA out" thing.

options>preferences>general preferences> UNCHECK "check for new versions of winamp at startup"


if this is not what you are referring to, please explain what this opening message is.

ragekage3 is referring to playback of WMA files.
If they aren't DRM licence protected, then just keep in_wm.dll from v5.02 and upgrade to Winamp 5.06. Problem solved :/
