hi, my broadband provider works in a way so that i have a different IP everytime i switch on my computer...is there anyway, any way at all, that i can keep one link to my radiostation that will still link to it when i have a different IP?

Free -- sign up and you get up to three DNS names that can map to your IP address -- download the Dynamic Update Client [DUC] that you run on one PC that updates the DNAS name whenever your IP changes....

ok, so ive got an account and downloaded the client...how to i tell it to go to IP:8000/listen.pls?

You have to create a DNS name on the no-ip site [Hosts/Redirects] -- Create a "DNS Host (A)" -- Tell it to map to your current IP to start -- then set up the DUC, all you need to tell the DUC is your email and password, then it does the rest.
Then, once you have a name configured and the DUC running [it has to run all the time] -- when you want to tell someone your stream address or post a link, use the no-ip_name:dnas_port -- ie: IndieMike.serveMP3.com:8000
