In the winamp Shoutcast DSP plugin on the output tab it says:
Status:
Not Connected

If I click connect it says
Status:
Disconnecting

for like 1/10th of a sec along with 'Kill' where it said connect, then goes back to sitting on 'Not Connected'

In address I tried my ip, localhost, 127.0.0.1 All nogo. I tried changing the port the server runs on, nogo. I can connect to
http://localhost:8000/ just fine.
It says "Server Status: Server is currently down."

This is all it says in the monitor window:

have you made your choise in which encoder you are using and have the bitrate set?

usualy this occurs when your dsp isn't configured correctly. ( means you forgot some settings)
