How to turn off the ShoutCast server on FreeBSD? I was using ssh to launch ShoutCast but I accidently closed that window. When I tried to start ShoutCast server again, the program said that the port is already in use. I strongly believe that server is running in background but I don't know how to stop it.

I urgently need answers because my shell admin is quite angry person ;) . I don't want HIM to know I'm running a radio on his server either :D .

Then maybe you shouldn't run it at all? He might be angry because the bandwidth will cost him $$.
