Hey I got my server running...I think... It keeps saying yp.shoutcast touched or something....does that mean its up? And I tried that http://24.254.10.175:8000/listen.pls
but it doesnt work....can some1 help me with that? obviously my IP is 24.254.10.175:8000

ok, now i have another problem....it connects, but then the connection closes RIGHT after that.....

Make sure you're using a player that can support it. Winamp can work from the /listen.pls link. Windows Media Player cannot. Real Player can with the right file. A little different for each program. Also have to make sure both your outgoing connection and their incoming connection can support the speed you're streaming at.

I have cable...and I have it on the lowest setting.... this is what im getting

Could it have anythign to do with me downlaoding From some1? cause im currently downloading 2 Mixed songs (ABOUT 50 thousand KB a peace)......

no got to do with the test the [yp] at shoutcast does with every stream that connects.
this is nothing more than a test to check your stream.

I see where it says Directory Tester or whatever, but when will that end? Its keeps doing it over and over.

post more of your log , when it keeps doing this over and over there are more errors in your log.

I've seen that before too -- in my case, the multiple [successful] and rapid requests by the directory checker seemed to coincide with a YP problem.

Very few versions of WMP can open a SHOUTcast. I have never been successful in getting WMP to work, so what you're seeing other than the directory checker stuff may be versions of WMP trying ... to no avail.
