View Full Version : Can AVS be used on a Macintosh?

Hello, I'm putting on a musical event in about 5 weeks in my town and was hoping to have AVS visualizations. Thanks to the folks over in the technical questions forum I learned about Linein visualizations. Now I have another problem: our laptop is a mac...
I'm wondering if AVS (and specifically linein AVS) can be used with a macintosh laptop. If so, how?
Maybe I'm just dumb, but I thought that Winamp was windows only (hence the name).
Anyways, any help would be appreciated, otherwise we're gonna have to find a PC laptop to borrow.
Thanks,
Andy

There is some sort of really old pathetic Winamp for mac isn't there? I realise the player itself might be really bad but would it play AVS and do linein stuff still?

You could set up a Windows VM, and run WA and AVS on that. Otherwise, no.
