My DSL reports says I have up to 600k in bandwidth. Whenever I try to do anything over 350k, i get pink splotches.

Just wonderin if anyone has noticed a direct correlation between cpu power and bittrate for realtime encoding?

why You don't try stream to localhost and see what happens?

Sounds like your CPU can't keep up. Try lowering the Framerate or Framesize.
