It all started out with Superman...I think.. then Batman. But in the past 3 years we've had the X-men (which was cool but I think Danzig would have made a cool Wolverine) Spider-man, Punisher, Dare-Devil, now Elektra, & comming soon the Fantastic 4. What would you like to see next? Who should star as that (or those) charactor(s)?

Desperate Dan. British comics rule. But I have no idea who would play him, but it better not be Arnie.

Justice League folks, Flash, another Spawn.
Wouldn't mind seeing some live action for anime characters as well...

Sandman from DC Vertigo. I really would like to see Robert Smith form the Cure play him. Since Sandman was based on Robert Smith I think that would be neat

The JLA would be great or just the Green Lantern.:D
Metal Men would be cool too!

People are still trying to adapt Watchmen for the big screen, but it's fairly futile really - too complex, most think.
I'm not sure what should really be next. If they made a Judge Dredd film that wasn't a hilarious farce, that would be cool.

I think they need to stick to comic's that the general population has heard of. That's probably part of the reason why dare devil did so poorly, and electra will probably do just as bad.
They need to stick to the classics.
Of course I wouldn't be upset if they did a movie for The Tick. ;)
The Anime idea isn't bad either. It'd have a to be a good drama anime, none of that cutsey weird ass high school crap.

There have been rumors for years about a live action Evangelion movie, but that's progressing very slowly if at all.

Except I think Since Sandman is a shape shifter you could get more then just one actor to play him. I would also like to see IRON MAN...Edward Norton as Tony Stark.

Me too, the live action show wasn't too bad either. I think people just didn't get it.

All you would have to do to get Robert Smith to look different is to pull his hair back and remove the makeup. ;)

I was thinking along the lines of the charactor being a shape shifter. If you needed a different look, then just clean Robert up. :D

The live action for Peach Girl and Sailor Moon needed work in my opinion, a live action Inuyasha now might be interesting.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I still haven't managed to read "The complete ballad of Halo Jones" but from the synopses I've read it sounds really cool and, if done properly, could be a good film.

I'll rather find my old Marvel comics instead. They rock when you haven't read them for some years. I've got Thor/Fantastic 4/X-Men/Spiderman and some various other comics like The Hulk and The Thing. I didn't like the newer comics though, whith all the new things more based on the movies than anything else.

Before Superman was Flash, I believe, with the Queen music and before that there was way way back in the stone age the original Batman film. Probably even more I never heard of.

But then again I've been wrong before.

Why does no one agree with me that a Desperate Dan comic would rock? I mean, look at him:

Spiderman, Batman, The Punisher, whoever. No one can beat Desperate Dan.

Then it's good they're keeping it. A lot of movies blatantly ignore that sort of detail about its sourse material.

My understanding is that it's in pre-production right now. I don't have high hopes. :(
Ghost World and American Splendour were both awesome comic adaptations.

http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf=info&id=1808403553&intl=us Tonight me & my wife are going to see Constantine. I've heard from most of my friends that it's badass. Were going to see it at our last drive-in. I doubt too many of you guys still have drive-in theators. Hell, ours is a historic land mark now, thanks to the daughters of the republic (Texas historical preservation) ;) Later tonight I tell you guys if the movie is a  or  or a  or really .
