Mike remains Live

My push to talk does not require activation I have a live mike whether I am using sound card or Winamp selection.

I am using Winodws XP Pro Serv Pack 2
Winamp5.03
Shoutcast dsp-1-8-2b.

Samsumg X10 1600.

Are you sure you didnt click the "lock" tab next to the "push to talk" tab ?

If so it would explain why your mic is always live.

I have checked that as well. I have been checking every thing around that area. No help.

There was one under B7 with help FAQ. but it says click on config and nothing further...

are ya settings up on the dsp?? if u have the levels high then the mic will always be open :(

or getta mic wif a on / off switch hey presto problem solved lol :)
