Tickets for July 1 in Chicago go on sale Friday, March 31. Amazing, after a five year vacation we're presented with a tour that has, as of this past Thursday, lasted a full year. How many bands do you know of that have the stamina of this scale? On July 8, NIN will have preformed 170 times for this tour alone. That, my friends, is one show every 2.77 days, for 472 days (1.8% of which I'll have attended :D). I'll say it for you: "Damn!".

The music from Round 5-1 on Ristar played at 114% true speed. Since the start of April, I've racked up nearly 10,000 plays in the media library and I still expect another 3000 more, at least. On my MP3 player, running in the background with the battery about to die, I have the same song playing, but at 115% true speed. I've got at least four other songs with 5 digit play counts and a further dozen with 4 digit play counts.... This is, indeed, the same song constantly, just different speeds (from changing the sample rate - only speeds that I like and sound decent are played (of course, playing at 2 million Hz could be done (40 times faster than normal), but it sounds horrible).

Just slightly over a minute at the current speed. At true speed, it's 70.14954 seconds long. At the current speed, still 114% faster than normal, it's 61.5347... seconds. Since I posted my message, I'm still listening to the same song at the same speed (probably with another 100 plays added on). As for the longest continuous streak, I'm only 2/3 of the way to my previous record, set close to 8 years ago (highly questioned on how long it was).

Ah, Still finally arrived in the mail today! Why, oh why, did I wait so long to buy this? I've known of it's existence since I bought the live DVD, but never thought of purchasing it. Merch.com is pretty slow, I don't like dealing with them, but it was the only option for some of the other items.

Anyway, any Nine Inch Nails fan will love this. I am still in need of two (four) items: Halo 13 (The Day The World Went Away), and Halo 15 (We're In This Together [Parts 1, 2, and 3], and Into The Void [Promo]). TDTWWA is easy to find, I've just got to quit procastinating. The WITTs and ITV singles are going to be very hard to find, they're very expensive ($65 [ITV] - $250 [WITT part 3]).
