I think her genre change was the best thing that she could have ever done. I thought her hard house stuff was alright, but nothing I would listen to more than a few times ... Aside from maybe her lashed album which I bought upon release and have listened to less than 10 times.

However, her trance dj'ing and tracks are absolutely to die for. This is of course a little odd for me as I am much more a fan of hard house than trance.

Honestly, one of the reasons music isn't my career anymore (was a school band director, freelance jazz/swing performer and dj) was because it was changing from a passion to a job when the politics and other bullshit got in the way. Now I can enjoy music in my little 'man cave' or perhaps go out and share it from time to time when the gig suits what I like to do. It's nice to be able to leave when someone is about to harm what I love. If it were my career, I probably couldn't enjoy it as much.

It's really hard smashing a dnb track between two house tracks.

It's also really hard to make things sound appropriate when my kaoss pad randomly decides to not follow traktor's midi clock. I think igloofest might have been too cold for both (ppppfffftttt -- making electronic equipment work at -20F). Anyone wanna donate money so I can get a current generation macbook air (kidding about the donation, but I do need a new one).
