Hi, I've got some features I think would be useful for winamp.
-Direct Sound output plugin enhancement: Auto-detect PREAMP setting as the song goes, for this, the output plug will also have to detect distortion, and lower or higher the PREAMP setting when some part of the song has more bass/volume than another part of the song. The PREAMP setting would go from +0.0 to -12.0 db automatically as needed when distortion is present.
-Using Milkdrop or the Advanced Visualization Studio, not only for windowed or fullscreen use, but as a background for any kind of windows. (such as instant messaging windows, Internet Explorer windows, etc) I made an example for this cool feature, and I attached a picture I edited, please see it.
-Some way to lock the skin settings: sometimes when you are in a rush, somehow you mess the equalization. (I use winamp's classic skin since is more accurate for equalizations.)
