can Winamp 2.0 be use

i was wondering if winamp 2.0 can be use to listen to shoutcast radios? i did search and winamp 2.05 it says that it can be use but i do get a few 2.0 and up. i did try to play my radio with winamp v2 and i got an error. i would like to know if i should just ban the version!

upgrade to the latest version ,if you run into trouble with v 2.0 then there is no support.

support is only given when using the latest version.

i dont need support as far as me using the winamp v2, what i do want to know if is posible to use v2 for tunin into shoutcast. i just want to know if i should put v2 on my black list of known rippers. i get a few people unsing v2 during the day and in the back of my head there is a voice telling me that yes indeed those are streamrippers!

ps. ;( i hate them sooo much, i can't and will not let them just use my bandwidth..
