Hi.
I know this isn't really the right forum but some of my friends etc want to listen but they are having some problems with Winamp.
How do you set up to broadcast on windows media player and is it free?
Since you probably have a station you may know. I have searched on google but nothing is coming up.

Found on Google, but I am usually searching Google for stuff so maybe I am more used to using odd search-strings for answers.
If you must use Windows Media Player make sure you update it first from the Internet by choosing "Help" then "Check for Player Updates". Follow the instructions step by step to update your WMP to version 9.
The other MOST IMPORTANT thing unfortunately with Windows Media Player is that you have to "manually" enter the URL for the stream to listen. Microsoft does not want to support Winamp’s “Shoutcast" streams in hopes that their formats become standard since Windows Media Player is pre-installed on most every computer running any version of Windows.
Therefore, to manually play the “.pls” file select the menu option "File", then choose "Open URL", then type in the URL http://yourip:8000 minus the listen.pls
