Basic Crossfade and Multiple Sessions

Two convient features woule be the ability to use multiple sessions of winamp in parallel; for the purpouse of crossfading or insertion (for live broadcast). Currently only one session is permited. Also; if two open winamps could interact to sync crossfades; thats even better.

What you say is not true...
You can play 100 winamp if you want (and if your PC follow...).

Just select "Allow multiple instances" option in preferences...

For cross fading, you can find many plug-ins which do this, like the good "SqrSoft Advanced Crossfading" output plug-in.
