Winamp 5.08 Lite

Greetings to all,

I am a great winamp fan, it is an execellent media player.
But what my problem is that the Lite version cannot play WMA audio formats, alot of my songs in my HDD are WMA's and WA Lite cannot play the files

The website error was pointed out many months ago, but nothing's been done.

Winamp Lite has never supported WMA playback, and never will.

As Egg said, the website error has been reported but nothing has been done and we have no control over it. So, Winamp Lite does not support WMA files, even though it is misrepresented as doing so on this page (http://www.winamp.com/player/free.php).

If you have DRM-protected WMA files you need to play, you will need to install Winamp 5.08e Full. Use Winamp 5.08d Full if you do not have any DRM-protected WMA files.
