Ok I have done all of the following; searched forums, looked at faq. None of the salutions provided help...
I hade my radio station working for a good 3 weeks.
Then shut it down for 2 weeks and when I try to connect it now it gives me the:
<04/14/05@20:58:28> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (nak)
<04/14/05@20:58:28> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer
(IP: 126.96.36.199:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection timed out))

Examine your PC -- the one running the DNAS server -- check it's LAN IP address -- if it uses DHCP it can [and will] change -- what will happen if it does? -- your port forwarding config on your router only points to one IP address, so if that "target" address changes, you will not be accessable.
The Fix: either configure the DNAS PC with a static LAN address [and re-config the router], or change the router's port forward config everytime you notice that the PCs address changed.
The introduction of a firewall on the PC would also cause this.

It has been configed to a static Ip. The router is set to forward the DNAS ports I have assined. I do not use DHCP I have it set to obtain the same Network Ip everytime.
Im running Windows 2000, no firewalls.
Im sorry for posting this, you probably get this alot.
But I have tryed everything on the forums, and this is my last resort.

You may try to reset the router, sometimes they have a bad hair day :)
If you were shut down for two weeks, I would check everything again -- the router, the PC -- anything that may have been changed by either you or your software in that time.
"Connection timed out" indicates a router dropping [ignoring, not forwarding] the request -- PCs with firewalls typically "refuse" requests.

Hmmm...I have reset my router.
And I have checked all my settings; PC, Router, DNAS.....
Is there anything besides the router....or something on my comp that could be cause the "refusal/timeout"?

You have to check everything.... look at your DNAS config file, make sure that the portbase is the same one that is forwarded on your router, make sure... make sure that the XP firewall is not enableed or configured to allow the DNAS port... make sure that everything is correct. You can't guess about anything.
You will get the error until everything is right.
There is no other answer.

Like I posted above, I have checked all my setting(everything). And my Os is 2000 not XP..
I have followed all the steps...and no luck.

If you have reset router, sorted ports and done the boring bits..have you tried changing yport=80 in DNAS server ini file to yport=666 ?

Yes I have.
I have probably tried everything on the forums.
Thats why Im now asking for support here.
