mini-browser extension

I would like to get a mini-browser with the ability to surf my hard-disks and choose dirs and files to play and/or put on a playlist.

there is somthing called Windows Explorer.. it comes with Windows.. get use to it. :P

the minibrowser is fine and all for seeing shoutcast webpages and that stuff... but really, it's pretty useless...

i change my mind on that.. it'd make a good window for displaying information from ID3v2 tags... to bad winamp doesn't support them.

If you want to surf the web use Netscape or IE... Winamp is for listening to choons!

yes, Ice's completely right!! http://forums.winamp.com/ubb/mad.gif kick this damn minibrowser out and put something useful in its place! for example the next few songs you want to hear.

Hmmm, that sounds like a certian other part of Winamp...*cough*Playlist*cough**hack*!!!

But yeah the minibrowser is a big waste of space. If it is to be expected to be used and worth while skinning then they should put more functionality into it!
I hate the way it changes on every song, does anyone give a flying one about the artist info?
I personally never use it. It has remained off and rarely ever graces my screen...infact the only time that it ever is put on is when I am making a skin for it! Now theres a waste of time for ya!
