I have installed the shoutcast server and winamp.
And whenever the server connects the message is as follows:
Cannot see your station/computer (IP: 62.255.64.5:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection refused))
I have a belkin router and what do i do to open the port ... so that i can start broadcasting ?

Its best to have a read through the documentation/help file for your Router or contact support/user forum for the product to find out how to forward ports for web access.
All the info is out there, you just got to know where to look :)

ok you dont need to run xp firewall if you have a router as it is a hardware firewall so you can disable it
to forward the ports you need to goto your router config page and forward 8000-8001 to your internal ip
i think the belkin config page is 192.168.2.1 if not look in your manual or try www.portforward.com and find out how to do it,
maybe ask someone thats ok on a pc to give you a hand
this may be a bit more help for ya on setting it all up

and now use the search button as i see you used the reply button straight away ;)
good luck
