How about a skin search engine on winamp's web site? The skins would be categorized by their overall color, their author, their rating, their simplicity (graded on a scale going from simple to cluttered), their title and description.
This type of search engine would be particularly useful for people who have seen a skin they like, but can't find it in the skin collection anymore! http://forums.winamp.com/ubb/smile.gif
