Ok, its getting late and I am getting more and more confused.
I am wanting to set up a station and I need some help already regarding servers.
I am only doing this for a bit of fun so I want to do it as cheaply as possible, plus I am not the most technically minded person around...so it needs to be pretty easy I guess.
Basically I want a station where I can play music and do talk, requests and all that.
What is the most simple way to do this....

I know it is a big ask but I was hoping I could find a nice kind hearted soul

Many Thanks

http://www.shoutcast.com/support/docs/

the plugin for winamp allows you to use the mic, and i think theres a request plugin somewhere out there to.

Cool, that link looks like it will help

Another point I am confused with is do you need your own server or does SHOUTcast run one?
If i need my own where can you get anywhere for free?

you can run your own server or get a host

www.radiotoolbox.com/hosts or google for streamhosting.

In this world there is no such thing as "free"
