I've been asking for this since before I can remember- but winamp desperately needs playlist functionality that allows one to start or stop an mp3 midway in a track. This is vital for talk shows that want to be able to stream specific parts of an mp3.
It would pretty simple to do to.
Just get the playlist parser to recognize something like this line:
interview.mp3 /start 3:23 /stop 5:34
That would play the track starting at 3:23 seconds until 5:34 seconds.
We NEED this feature, and most other streaming solutions already offer it.
