I need something in between of my Windows Explorer and the Winamp Playlist. I can imagine something like an Explorer-like folder-tree, but independent of all harddisk structures to organise my huge mp3-collection spreaded over a lot of disks in too many different folders. Those id3-tag based links to files anywhere in my system may be dragged and dropped, just like files in Explorer. I'll be able to invent folder-names to 'store' my 'links' to real mp3s, perhaps like A B C D ... or Alternative, Rock,... or A*Teens till ZZ-Top. Double-Clicking on a link enqueues the file to the playlist. Search function implemented, of course!
