Blah blah, I get pink stuff and winamp crashes between clips because I s*******p my live show. (Note: I didn't say the big nasty word)

Anyways, one of the thoughts as to why this was happening was because there was erroneous data between the BEEF markers at the beggining and end of my files. A friend of mine wrote a utility that will go though and strip out erroneous data to the first and last BEEFs in a directory full of NSV files.

Enjoy.

Toqer hosts his own stream.

You can find a listing of Streaming Hosts maintained by KXRM
www.radiotoolbox.com/hosts

That list is not indexed by Google, so your safe.

I tested it out, and it does stop the crashes, but we still get pink stuff and the audio desynchs from the video. He's a really sharp guy, in our chat all the time. Just hang out, you two are bound to bump into each other.

i think the problem is you are assuming that nsv is like a bitstream when in reality I found in my research it wasn't. The data in the frame segments seemed arbitrary at some point between video and audio so sync'ing mechnisms were put into place at the beginning of NSVs segments. Just stripping it down to BEEF markers is likely to not be enough.
