Is it possible so i dont have to be the dj for the Shoutcast NSV streaming like can i buy webhosting and upload all the NSV files onto the webhosting and then make my Shoutcast server run it off the webhosting

i doubt the host will allow you to install shoutcast on the webserver

you need ssh/root access to the server but if you do manage it then heres a link for nsv on demand

no i meen like can i upload all my nsv video files onto a website so i dont have to upload to the shoutcast server so it makes the website the dj

i got all these episodes converted to .nsv.
I cant stream them because i havent got a high enough bandwidth.
can i upload them to a webserver and some how make the Shoutcast server read off of the episodes on the webserver and stream them if possible how

You don't need root access nickass, hell you don't even need ssh access.

You can make a php page that will exec 'sc_nsv' like bulk said. No SSH needed.

lol yep i see that now i figured he was trying to install nsv on his webserver..

WebRanger does what you are talking about. All the files live in cyberspace. You need a shouter and a server. For unix, that's sc_nsv and the shoutcast server.

You will need shell access to run shoutcast and sc_nsv, although I don't think you need root. sc_nsv will shout playlists to the shoutcast server for pseudo live TV.
