Skinning Ideas

I need an Idea for a skin, I am fairly bored, and have nothing better to do. Some gaming related skin Ideas would be cool. :)

Every game related idea has already been done already, sorry. ;) Have you done skins before? Let me see what you've done so I can judge your style and I can try to come up with a game idea you might be good at.

Why dont you just do a themed one that matches your desktop?

Just do a skin which relates to one of your hobbies. Simple enough. :D Shouldn't be hard to put something together.

I don't see how anyone can have this problem. I am overflowing with skin ideas and lacking on time.

Same here, more or less. Although when I really sit down just to make a skin, and have some time, usually that's when the ideas just don't come.
But then they do :p

Yeah, if you really can't come up with even just an idea or theme, then perhaps creative pursuits like skinning just aren't for you.:p

But if you really want to do it, then here - have a list:
-Rococo architecture
-Classical Greek architecture
-Lego
-Pick a film and make a skin for it (Not a Hollywood film, but a real one)
-Pick a Hollywood movie and make a skin for it
-Mondriaan
-Transformers
-World Cup 2006
-Pick a retro style, like Art deco, or a 60s, 70s, or 80s style, and make a skin in that style
-Flintsones
-Jetsons
-Simpsons
-your favourite sport.
-your favourite team
-Make a skin that looks like it's made almost entirely out of some wacky material, like styrofoam or canvas.
-The comic book art of Liechtenstein or anything else that looks like that.
-an Ancient Egyptian themed skin.
-pick a game that you really like and make a skin for it. If no games stand out to you, then that's probably a sign that you shouldn't bother making a game skin.

That should get you started.

I wanted to do a lego skin :( i think my knex skin is enough :P

I'm thinking of a kitchen skin :D also a designed skin :P a bit scruffy...i thing that everything (even the more $tupid thing) can be skinned...just look around :D and be creative :D as stillwater (sometimes says) think out of the square :D (i love to discuss :D I really love it)}
