I recently paid for winamp pro, was a waste of time, had someone send an email, name was 'Cristal', with the promise of helping me...no further help...I have used winamp for years, thought it would be nice to have the pro, but apparently this 'company' is just another con game on the internet...I will now use itunes, and please, remove my name from the forums as frankly your site and support is just a joke and waste of time.
PS. I suppose the VIRUS that was sent with the download might have had something to do with the problem...jerks!

Did you get it from this site?

Additionally, there was a false positive on viruses using the Nullsoft installer for about a day a couple of weeks ago, if you did get it from this site.

If you got it from anywhere but this site, you just learned a harsh lesson about the internet.

Yeah, it was from here...and no, the virus was WITH the download...winamp is not a good deal, I lost the money, but hey, itunes is best and won't rip you off.

I guess everything is clear now. You have been wronged and the refund check is in the mail.

Seriously though, you have ever made 2 posts in this forum, neither one asks for support.

You also did not mention from what company/website you purchased Winamp Pro. Nullsoft itself is not the seller, as this is handled by a 3rd party company.

Care to fill us in on the essential details, or where you just trolling?

I don't know what 'trolling' is, I just know that winamp is bad...so I will stick with itunes, at least they can be trusted. Oh, the money is nothing, feel it is worth it to find out about this entire rip off. Oh, by the by, this is my final 'bitch', hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings by telling the truth, and 'have a nice day'.

But what are you posting here for exactly? If you want help, change your attitude. If you don't want help, what are you doing here?

If you're posting here to 'pay us back'... No-one at the forums has anything to do with the selling and distribution of the pro version. You can get free help in the tech support forum by volunteers if you have problems. What exactly did you expect to find here?

What the hell, I'm wasting my time. 'Have a nice day' too.

Well, I only have one thing to say.

Since you did not answer the questions in my previous post, and since your only interest seems to be to stir up trouble on this forum, therefore, my dear sir,
YOU ARE A TROLL.

footnote: We don't like trolls, they are lower than Sonique users.

Sonique? Haven't heard that for a long time. Are there still Sonique user out there? Helooo... :D

I smell an itunes peddlar. He mentions it in EVERY post he makes.

Really, I thought it was your feet. Or maybe Wally didn't wash up after a night out with the moose. Those crazy Canadians, always gotta keep an eye on them.

There's no viruses or any malware whatsoever in the Winamp installer.
What AV software are you using? Do you have the latest definitions?
Did you report the false-positive to the AV vendor?

Are you saying that Digital River refused to refund you?

What other problems did you experience exactly?
Did you think to maybe post in the Technical Support forum here, before spouting off?
Some of us here have been providing top notch free tech support for over 5 years, and would've been more than willing to help you, heh.

iTunes is for whiny children who know nothing about computers and can't fix stuff for themselves.

Bed now.

Don't freak, it's just an AOL icon. The virus doesn't activate unless you subscribe.
