Yup, it's the music bitch thread. I think I started one ages ago, but, yeah. Any hoo... the song I heard today that made me cringe:

A techno remix, with new vocals, of Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer". :igor: I drove in a horror filled stupefication wonder of "why? oh god, why?".

Why did Jada have to do a track with Ja Rule? Why did Green Lantern have to talk about 50 and leave? Why did Pac have to stomp on Orlando? Why did Game go and tattoo a butterfly on his face? Why did Jay Z do a callabo with LP? Come to think of it, why does Jay Z do anything? Why does combs dabble in boy bands? Why why why.. alot of stupid shit. I could go on.

Why did Korn have to cover Another Brick on the Wall? It sounds decent till they start singing, Korn vocals just don't work for Floyd.

Why did they let boy bands take a foothold in the 90'S??????? Anyone could've seen what would happen (every label growing 10 each in the corporate basement).

Nothing repulses me more than 4 or 5 young men acting like dolls.

Now, why did they have to do that... blend Harold Faltermeyers Axel F with the Crazy Frog ring tone?

I was never keen on Axel F as it stood, but merging it with that fucking frog thing just does my tits in, I swear to fucking God if I see that advert on TV once more I'm gonna stick my size 13's through the screen....

Heh. I blame DJ Sammy for letting the rest think it was a good idea to remix older 90's and 80's songs.

You know, I was kinda ticked off at the Oscars this year. Except for maybe ONE song, Beyonce Knowles sang the Oscar nominated songs. :hang:

Damn....seen that ad too. German MTV drove me mad with its adverts. That, the "mosquito repelling ringtone" advert, and, worst of them all, "Disco lights" advert, drove me crazy when I was watching MTV. That, and Candyshop.:eek:

That "Pimp my Fahrrad" show made up for it tho, damn funny. Funnier than Pimp My Ride at its funniest (read: Daihatsu Hijet).

God yes. I almost snapped the CD in two after hearing this crap. Y'all know how much I like Pink Floyd...this rendition was utterly painful to me.

To save my ears I immediately had to put in the only truly *good* cover of a Pink Floyd album I've ever heard: Les Claypool's Live Frogs: Set 2 (cover of Animals).

Umm.. I think her record sales how that. I'm not even going to debate this because I could care less about her. But do some research, she's definately well liked.

I actually like Avril Lavigne a little, at least some of the songs from her first album that got the least radio airplay. She's definitely had a lot that's been overplayed, though.

But if she ever tries to cover Pink Floyd I'll flog her with a rotton fish and cast voodoo curses on her children.

ROFL, I heard the ringtone on the Phil Hendrie show(. (http://www.philhendrieshow.com/home.html)), and it's quite bizarre. Then they procede to fade it into the Axel F song thing, which I find annoyingly addictive. I now have it playing on Winamp...
