Winamp crashes as soon as long plays

I open winamp and its fine... until i play a song. how far can i get with that? haha

Its a problem with the plugin: gen_ml.dll, unsurprisingly gen_ml.dll = media library... i delete the file, and unsurprisingly, winamp runs and plays songs, but i have no media library.

ive tried clean installs, uninstalling and reinstalling etc... none of that worked. how can i fix my problem without killing media library? i dont want any links to stickied threads either cause i read em all
