Does anyone know who developed ComelyAmp ...

One of my all-time fav skins is ComelyAmp ( released 4 to 5 years ago ). I've been trying to find out who developed it, no success so far. Only a mention of "fli7e" or something like that.

If you have any info, please let me know.

Well, I've never heard of it, although I have heard of fli7e. Fli7e is a very good skinner from years ago. He was one of the first people to ever skin winamp (in fact, he may even have been the first). I used to have many of his skins, but now, for some reason, most of them seem to have disappeared from the main skin sites.

Anyway, if the skin you are talking about is very very old, extremely well crafted, and has notably high usability as well as being very aesthetically creative, then fli7e is a good bet. If you want to do some more detective work, then these links may be of help:

As for fli7e reading this and updating the skin, it's very unlikely. If I'm not mistaken, fli7e got sick of disrespectful skin users hassling him for whatever reason and left the skinning community in disgust a few years ago. I remember reading an interview with him about it.

If you find the skin, post a link to it here, and one of the skinners here may decide to update it (winamp.com are now allowing experienced skinners to update old skins where the original authors have disappered)

In fact, if you come across any fli7e skins, I'd appreciate if you posted a link here. I wouldn't mind downloading a few of them again :)

If you search the WA forums for "Comely Amp" you get a thread for rips. One of them is for Comely Amp where fli7e's email address & website are listed.

I'm not sure if they are current and if Timo Henke ( that's his name I believe ) reads or responds to emails.

I have Comely if you want it, and Pixelifier one point zero from the WA skins section. I also have StoneAge, but I'm not sure if it is by fli7e.
