i have tried loads of things to get my shoutcast server over net, going through a router. my router is a QTEC 790RH. i have read some of the threads but none helped mi i tried using port forwarding but didnt work i want my friends to b able to type the http://myip:port/listen.pls

i found its is summet to do wiv forwarding an internal ip to make it so if someone types my external ip it reaches my internal

That's normal, I can't connect via my own IP, some routers don't let you do that.
You will need to forward your ports. People outside will not be able to hear you until you have done this.

i have forwarded ports 8000-8001 but which ip do i use

www.whatismyip.com will tell you the IP to give to listeners, you will not be able to connect to it yourself and will always have to use your internal IP or localhost to check your own stream.

what about testing on another computer on the network do use the internal ip for that

Yes you will, as it will still be going via the router, most routers these days don't like this 'local-loopback' thing. :)
