You need a 'Launcher' to use 'Real Player' To listen to the stream.
RealPlayer Launcher:
http://YOUR IP:YOUR PORT/listen.pls
Edit the above in a HTML editor or'wordpad' and save as 'whatever.ram' and upload to your server/webspace.
Make a link to the '.ram' file for 'RealPlayer' launching.
Use this link format.
http://YOUR_SERVER_WEBSPACE/whatever.ram
Paste the link into a web page for your listeners to connect with Real Player.
It needs to point to your .ram file location to launch the stream.
Also.
Windows Media Player Launcher:
Edit in a HTML editor or 'wordpad' and save as 'whatever.asx' Upload to your server/webspace.
<asx version="3.0">
<title>STATION NAME</title>
<entry>
<author>GENRE</author>
<ref href="http://YOUR IP:YOUR PORT/"/>
</entry>
</asx>
Make a link to the file for WMP launching.
Use this link format. It needs to point to your .asx file location to launch the stream.
http://YOUR_SITE_WEBSPACE/whatever.asx
