I have tried this a million times, with all the possible settings. Is there a way to listen to what is being captured while watching it too? My NSV "Preview" is turned on and as soon as I click "Start Capture," all I get to see is the video. Of course, the stream relays fine and has sound too, but I am unable to hear to that sound on my computer. Also, I can't use any other TV app (like ATI MMC) as the "line in" is already being used by NSV while capturing. If anyone could let me know if it is at all possible to preview both video & audio, I'd appreciate that a lot.

Also, for some peculiar reason, my ATI MMC refuses to run once I start NSV and quit it. The problem seems to fix itself when I restart my system. Is it a problem with ATI's TV tuners, or NSV codec(s) conflicting with ATI's? Thanks for any replies in advance.

As for the preview, just make another slot available on your server (if its being run locally) and just watch it (it shouldn't eat up any extra bandwidth/upload speed if you use the local IP). As for the ATI thing, I have no idea as I've never used a TV tuner card before.

Use the system mixer to output the line in. You would want it off if you were really live, because you'd get feedback.

You can find this in the little speaker icon on your task bar.
