What have you tried so far? It's hard to offer help without knowing the full picture.
Things to know that would help are, operating system, software firewall, computer security software, router, ISP, etc

ok ive followed how to open the ports but as my ip changes everytime i reboot my pc the port forwarding isnt working is there away round this thanks.

You're doing it wrong then. You don't forward your external IP to your router. You need to do more thorough reading to be able to understand.
Look very carefully through my NAK Error fix link.

Your ports aren't forwarded correctly.
Your Shoutcast works, what is happening now is not a Shoutcast problem.
You have to learn about your router and how to set a static ip to your computer.
http://www.portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm for a static IP
http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm for your router.

ive done both of the above and now i dont get no error its just only people on my network can tune in to my station.

Have you set it to public in the yellowpages button on the output tab of the DSP?
15th September 2005, 22:22
yes ive set it to public.
15th September 2005, 22:24
Can we see what your DNAS log says now?
15th September 2005, 22:26
yes sure it says this
<09/15/05@23:23:49> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com added me successfully
<09/15/05@23:26:49> [yp_tch] yp.shoutcast.com touched!

It's strange that it's not getting outside of the network. What's your stream link? Are you sure your external IP hasn't changed again?
Sorry for all the seemingly obvious questions.
15th September 2005, 22:34
stream link?(mono i think) i know my external ip hasnt changed cos people on my network can connect.and np about the questions i am glad of the help

Yes you can get out :D
I am concerned that your bitrate is too high. http://testmy.net to check your upload speed. On a 2mbit line here I can only stream to about 8 people on 24kbps. Otherwise, you're fine!
/edit link to give people outside of your network is http://220.127.116.11:8000/listen.pls you can drop the listen.pls if they're not using Winamp.
