craftytv troubles

OK i have a problem with watching movies on a streaming video site called craftytv.com. The site requires you to download an active X plugin for winamp to view these files and i have. The problem is when i go to view them it comes up with the winamp logo and loading bar (as normal) but when the loading bar reaches the end it crashes internet explorer. No error or anything either. It just disappears. Ive tried different browsers (firefox, opera ect.) But it does the exact same thing to them. Ive even tried different versions of winamp but it still wont work. Ive tried it on my friends computer and it works. Please help me out i really wanna view the movies.

What does this have to do with Winamp? ActiveX is a Microsoft Explorer thing not a Winamp thing. Based on what is mentioned in that site, playback is apparently done in the browser and not Winamp. Anyways ...from CraftyTv

yes im aware of that but it uses winamp as a streaming application within the active X plugin and the it has nothing to do with the site as i have had this porblem for ages and it works on my other computer.

No, it's not Winamp related, it's an NSV (Nullsoft Streaming Video) ActiveX Control for Internet Explorer (or an NSV Plugin for Firefox). You don't even need to have Winamp installed for it to work.

I just signed up for a free account and the Family Guy stream played ok in Firefox, though playback was a bit skippy/choppy (which it says will happen unless you upgrade to a personal bandwidth subscription).
