Server Problem

Hi im a complete n00b at tis but i have tried to run shoutcast server on some webspace i own. I uploaded sc_serv and sc_serv.conf to space-cowboy.co.uk and configured them like every internet tutroial sais to but in win amp when i try to conect to http://www.space-cowboy.co.uk/8000 it will not connect and i cannot see what i am doing wrong? Can soem one help me out please?

Did you start the shoutcast server? Are you even able to? Uploading files, and executing them, are two different things.

You need to execute the server to get it running, and your host needs to allow this.

The correct link, if it were working, would be

http://www.space-cowboy.co.uk:8000

You need to contact the owner of the server - we can't help you.
