IP problems

First off sorry if this is somewhere else but i have looked and i cant seem to find what im looking for anyway...

my problem is that when i try to host a shoutcast server no body can connect and im pretty sure the problem is because of my ip...

my computers ip is
IP 192.168.1.1**
DEfault gateway 192.168.1.2**

but when i go on to http://www.whatismyip.com/
it says Your IP - 202.67.113.6

iv read that this is because of a static ip or something to do with the isp, but is there a way around this?

Do you have a router?

192.168.1** would be your IP to your computer on the network, where as 192.168.1.2** Would be a Router or another Computer which is acting as a gate way. But after that "gateway" you will have another IP for the internet e.g. 202.67.113.6

You cant adjust that. That is given from your ISP

The server operates on the intranet IP address. Which settings should be changed to make it operate on the external (internet) IP address?

192.168.x.x - intranet IP
195.192.x.x - external IP

The server currently operates on the intranet ip.
