Anybody else have this problem?:
I am using Windows 2000, this does not occur in my win 98 OS on a seperate hard drive.
When playing mp3's in winamp and i'm looking around in my local hard drive using Explorer, the playback starts skipping (happens fairly often). As soon as i press the pause, FF 5 seconds, or RW 5 seconds hot keys...the skipping is gone immediately. However, if i resume my explorer use, it starts skipping again.
I know its winamp because when i try it with other software (such as Sonique and TDK digital mixmaster), It never skips it all when i'm doing anything.
Please help! Winamp is my favorite! I have version 2.62
My computer has:
Pentium III 600, 128 mb PC-133 ram, SB live Value, Creative GeForce 256 DDR, 13.6GB 7200 RPM WD Digital Expert.
I have certified drivers for my sound card and video card.
