Lo people.

Im using the blackviper (http://majorgeeks.com/page.php?id=12) service settings. This is to disable services. I went from ''safe'' to ''gaming'' and since ive done this a double click on an mp3 will no longer result in winamp starting to play automatically. The only way to open is to use the context menu: ''open with''..
Now, the question is: who can tell me what service in services.msc is responsible for doing this?

Btw #1. Ive upgraded from 5.09 to 5.11. Both got this prob.
Btw #2. Ive re-associated mp3 in folder-options->extensions. No desired result.

Plz help?!:cry::up:

Got WinXP SP2? Form what you described that sounds like DCOM issue...Known issue with WinXP SP2 (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=183515) | (suggested fix (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?postid=1389827#post1389827)).You are using a utility to change Windows settings. So, this is more of a Windows issue, than a Winamp issue. Other than the above, there is not much that we can tell you.
