File info causes stack overflow program error

Using WinAmp 2.62 with Windows 98 Second Edition. When I try to access file information using Alt-3 or doubleclicking on file name, I get a program error stack overflow. Anyone else have this problem?

This same problem has bugged me ever since I installed WinAMP v2.62. However, whenever I try to load up the ID3-tag my whole system (Win98, AMD K6-2 350mhz, 128mb RAM) freezes and I have to restart. I have uninstalled and reinstalled (and also tried installing the "new" Matchbox20 WinAMP), yet the problem still occurs. Anyone have any ideas on what's causing it or how to fix it? This is the only problem I'm having with WinAMP as well... it's quite annoying.
