In order to stream NSV you need to download the ShoutCast server ( http://www.shoutcast.com ) along with the NSV Tools. I would suggest you get the NSV Tools from http://nsv.no-ip.com/ as they come with a lot of basic necessary parts. Another good idea is to always reference http://www.scvi.net/ before asking any furthur questions on this forum. Also, read the FAQ that is stickied to the top of the forum. It is very possible to stream any form of video using NSV.

Encode your movies : www.scvi.net/gui.htm

Then stream your movies : www.scvi.net/cmd_str.htm

You must also set up a shoutcast server : www.scvi.net/shoutcast.htm

1. Encode your NSV files.

2. Source the files to a NSV compatible media server.
( Such as Shoutcast/ Icecast or Steamcast )

3. The media server then streams the NSV content to viewers.

No where will you find information that says Winamp is used to stream NSV.

I would use nsvgui+ from http://nsv.no-ip.com/ There is no necessary command prompt knowledge and it is all bundled into a nice and simple GUI interface.
