When connecting to WM Encoder WinAmp buffers up to 98%. However it never plays.

How to reproduce

-Start a WMEnc session in pull mode.
-In WinAmp, OpenUrl http://host:port/live.wmv

The player will buffer up to 98% but it will never play the live session.

It works great for audio only streams.

In any case I have tried this on several computer with all sort of different settings in the WM Encoder session with the same result.

It looks like the DirectShow filtergraph just doesn start.

I take it you didn't read the Known Bugs (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=156839) sticky thread first ;-)

DJ Egg,

Oops! I guess I missed that. Thanks for the info. Any idea when or how I can get the winamp with the fix. It says that it has been fixed in version 5.112. Am I correct?

I am trying to make a plugin for WinAmp but I would need to have this working.

Thanks

I just realized that I am already using 5.112 and it still doesn' work. I am using the both .wmv and .asf extensions.

Do you know when the fix will be made available?

The red asterisk means it's fixed in the internal beta builds, not the public builds. Next public release is scheduled to be 5.12, but could be a few weeks off yet.
