I just downloaded v2.64, as any avid Winamp user would, but I've run into a problem. Winamp will no longer associate itself with my MP3 or WAV files. I checked the file associations in Winamp's preferences, but found that WAV, MP1, MP2, and MP3 were not there. I thought that they used to be there, but I could be mistaken. I made sure that Winamp was set to automatically register types on start, and also that the Winamp Agent was running, which they were. I checked the MPEG Decoder in the Input Plugins, and it WAS set to play MP3, MP2, and MP1. Nomatter what I do, I can't seem to get Winamp to associate itself with MP3 or WAV files anymore! This was only since I downloaded v2.64

Thanks in advance,
Shawn

i use 2.64, and i have no problem with associations. mp3, mp2, and mp1 are at the very top of the file type list. (wav is there too, it's just a little further down)

the only thing i can think of is that you deselected the mp3 and wav formats, and winamp is just following orders. hit "select all" in preferences -> setup -> file types and see if that helps.

Yeah I've tried that too but it still doesn't help. They just simply aren't listed in the list, even though they used to be in the previous version. Yet the decoder input plugins are all there and functioning... if I open a file (MP3/WAV) using Winamp it works fine.
