hi,

as the developer of an indie-snowboard game we like the idea of letting users choose/enter a shoutcasts-stream as ingame background music.

since this game uses fmod-sound-engine (www.fmod.org) its technical possible to offer such a feature but regarding the legal-isses i'm not quite sure.

any help would be appreciated,
Michael

Hello,

If the audio engine can support mp3 streams it should be possible.

I can't see any problems with giving the ability to play a stream from within a computer game. I would however, recommend checking that its fine with the radio station(s) you're planning on offering before you do this.
